Is SQL Server very popular in China? Also, what resources do you have available to learn more about SQL Server? One of the books I wrote on SQL Server 7, many years ago, was translated to Chinese. I always wondered how popular the book was in China. -------------------------------- Brad M. McGehee, SQL Server MVP http://www.sqlbrad.com

Tiky You may need to wait until few weeks as we are in process to face-off the forums and in this case I can see a possibility, but before that we might need a strong contender to reply Chinese questions here. As we have such language experts and have deployed Spanish & German languages related section. For further information on this concept its better to contact webmaster of this site. I don't know if Community Server, the new and upcoming forum software, supports Unicode characters or not. Jude would know. My book on SQL Server 7.0 was translated in a bunch of different languages. I have forgotten how many now, but I have copies of most of them. But that was a long time ago when I wrote it. -------------------------------- Brad M. McGehee, SQL Server MVP http://www.sqlbrad.com
CS 2007 (cs 3.0) supports the unicode and you can have upto 70+ languages support (I think) and it also depends on the server locale settings to support east-asian or multi language settings. <br /><br /><i>But we might have some problems understanding Chinese anyway.</i><br />This is where language experts are required [<img src='/community/emoticons/emotion-2.gif' alt='' />], like we need to understand German means you are there.<br /><br /><b>Satya SKJ</b><br />Microsoft SQL Server MVP<br />Writer, Contributing Editor & Moderator<br /<a target="_blank" href=http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com>http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com</a><br /><center><font color="teal"><font size="1">This posting is provided AS IS with no rights for the sake of <i>knowledge sharing. <hr noshade size="1">Knowledge is of two kinds.
