SQL Server Performance

Installing SQL Server on top of SQL Server 2005???

    Hi,Is it possible to install SQL Server on top of existing SQL Server 2005 in my machine.Please help me on this.Thanks,Sandeep

    Welcome to the forums.
    As Frank referred the link, you can install an additional instance of 2005 or higher version as a NAMED Instance if your existing instance is a DEFAULT instance.
