SQL Server Performance

Invalid Characters

    Hi There…

    I have one column with datatype text. When I try to edit record form application side and insert “<br>” characters it gives me error:
    “A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client (mpEdit:txtMediaAttendance="'Test<br>").”

    But when I enter the same “<br>” from query analyzer it works fine. Any Clue what can be the reason for this?
