It seems like this is the only exam needed for the new MCDBA: Exam 70-431 http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/mcts/sql/default.mspx Is this true?
The MCDBA designation is being phased out. If you pass the 70-431, you become a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in SQL Server 2005. The replacement of the MCDBA is the Microsoft Certified IT Prefessional, which has three options, each which takes passing three tests to get.
