I am currently reviewing the following SQL high availablity and backup solutions for use instead of MS clustering. Has anyone used or have first hand knowledge of any of these products. So far I have been unable to find very little info other than what the company provides.

    Neverfailhttp://www.neverfailgroup.com/products/nfsql.asp
    XOSoft WanSync and WanSyncHAhttp://www.xosoft.com/products/f_WANSyncSQL.shtml
    Xlinkhttp://www.xlink2.com/REPLICA/sql/clusterdescription_sql.htm
    Veritas Cluster Server
    Doubletake

I have 2 SQL servers colocated at a local ISP and a third back at our main office. The Primary SQL server is colocated and I would like to keep a warm or hot standby at the colocation facility as well as the third server at our office updated as well. We have ruled out replication and have considered log shipping but these products intrigue me because they seem to most of them can make the failover happen automatically.

Any real world experience out there?

    Jeremy
