Hi there...<br /><br />ONe of job which runs every night for accounts update is failing by yesterday.This job uses LDAP Service to update accounts info from Active directory. <br />When i run the query in QA it gives below error <br />"Server: Msg 7399, Level 16, State 1, Line 19<br />OLE DB provider 'ADsDSOObject' reported an error. The provider indicates that the user did not have the permission to perform the operation.<br />OLE DB error trace [OLE/DB Provider 'ADsDSOObject' ICommandPrepare:<img src='/community/emoticons/emotion-4.gif' alt='' />repare returned 0x80040e09: The provider indicates that the user did not have the permission to perform the operation.]."<br /><br />Nothing is being changes as such.<br />Please Advice.<br /><br />Thanks<br />Danny
AnyBody???????? Is it possible that i am the only one whose facing this issue....no one knows anything. I have searched google alot and found alot of people with this issue. But none of them with solution. Please help !!!!! All sugesstion are invited.... Thanks Danny
Hi there... I got it done....i dont know what was the reason. All changes i made were added new login to the Linked Server properties Secuity tab. And it worked. thanks Neeraj Malik
