    Hi everyone,

My database has 2 log files. Do they have the same content?

If they don't have the same content, how can I switch from one log file to the other as Oracle do by using the statement "ALTER DATABASE SWITCH LOGFILE"?

    Thanks

    Hi,
AFAIK , theirs no option to switch or tell SQL to use which log file is used , but you can restrict size of LOG

SQL Server woudl automatically choose the required log file and you need not worry about setting the option.
