If you are intersted in helping out this forum as a moderator, please let me know what topic you would like to help moderate. We are especially looking for someone to help out in these topics:

    T-SQL Performance Tuning for Developers
    General Developer Questions
    Anaysis Services/Data Warehousing
Performance Tuning for SQL Server Replication
    Non-Transact SQL Developer Performance Tuning
    General DBA Questions
    SQL Server Reporting Services

I can help in one (or more) of these topics, as long as you tell me what I have to do as a moderator.

    T-SQL Performance Tuning for Developers
    General Developer Questions
    General DBA Questions

I wouldn't mind helping out on these:

    T-SQL Performance Tuning for Developers
    Non-Transact SQL Developer Performance Tuning
    General DBA Questions

    MeanOldDBA
    derrickleggett@hotmail.com

When life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA.

I don't mind helping but I sometimes struggle to get to the forum due to project work... The following areas are the ones that I would feel comfortable with

    T-SQL Performance Tuning for Developers
    General Developer Questions
Performance Tuning for SQL Server Replication
    Non-Transact SQL Developer Performance Tuning
    General DBA Questions

    Cheers
    Twan

Generally speaking, here are the "responsiblities" of a moderator:

    1) Try to review the forums you moderate each day (or as often as practical) to answer unanswered questions. Of course, you can contribute to any forum you want.
    2) If you find a post that is under the wrong topic, move it to the correct topic.
    3) Remove any inappropriate posts.
    4) If you find any inappropriate language, you can "censor" it, like this: ****.

Here are the new moderator assignments I have made. I tried to balance the number of people to the forum they indicated an interest in. If you would like a change, please let me know.

    Twan:
Performance Tuning for SQL Server Replication
    T-SQL Performance Tuning for Developers
    Non-Transact SQL Developer Performance Tuning
    General DBA Questions
    General Developer Questions

    ChrisFretwell:
    General DBA Questions
    General Developer Questions
    T-SQL Performance Tuning for Developers

    derrickleggett:
    Non-Transact SQL Developer Performance Tuning
    General DBA Questions
    T-SQL Performance Tuning for Developers

I am still looking for moderators in these areas:

    Anaysis Services/Data Warehousing
    SQL Server Reporting Services

Thanks, but there are already enough moderators around, and as my own German forums get alive now, I can't tell how much time they will "cost" me.
