As you probably know, we began a new program last November that only allowed forum members to win a prize once every 3 month. So the winners in November, December, January, and February, were inelgible to win for a while. But now, those who won in November are now elgible to win in March, and because of this, we now see some very familiar names on the winners list this month. Again, thanks for all of your participation, even when you were not elgible to win. The winners for March 2004 are: --satya --twan --ChrisFretwell --x002548 --Adriaan --derrickleggett --FrankKalis --airjdrn And the people listed below are inelgible to win this month, but they still contributed a lot this month, and I want to thank them also. Some of these will again become elgible in April to win prizes. --NewDBA --argyle --gaurav_bindlish --Lazy_DBA --Chappy --bambola Here are the available prizes this month. I will be contacting each winner, asking them what they want to receive. --ApexSQL Audit($599) from ApexSQL Software --NetworkSmart 2003 ($449) from LeadByte Software --SQL Scribe Documentation Builder ($400) from A&G Software --DbNetGrid ($599) from DBNetLink --myLittleAdmin ($490) from myLittleTools.net --SQLZip ($500) from from SQLZip Software --mssqlXpress ($299) from XpressApps --RapTier Professional ($299) from SharpPower.Com ----------------------------- Brad M. As usual congratulations all the contenders, keep up the good work. Thanks Gaurav for the support. I would expect a compete between Luis and Gaurav for this month's top prize. This is really kewl. Of course, from looking at Luis's and Guarav's post counts, they win every time they are up for the prize. <img src='/community/emoticons/emotion-1.gif' alt='' /><br /><br />Derrick Leggett<br /><br />

I never contend anything, anytime, anywhere. And I'm certainly not a winner. Hm. Where did I go wrong?
If I follow you Ok, nothing wrong. Only you post and help others. New rules allow more members to win (one member win with 1 post) and that is good for all. Luis Martin Moderator SQL-Server-Performance.com
Adriaan For instance your contribution in this posthttp://www.sql-server-performance.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3595 is counted and I can see few other contributions from you. All the members are considered even though a member is using forum exclusively for Questions to solve the issues. So without a good question ... answer will not be completed. Luis & Satya, Honestly, I was just trying to make a joke! This must be the first time it's been a pleasant surprise to find myself a winner in a competition I didn't knowingly enter. Usually it's a hoax to try and sell you something.
See thats the charm of this website giving you surprise. And its totally upto your discretion to accept the prize or not, don't go for extreme causes. Satya SKJ Moderator http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com/forum This posting is provided “AS IS†with no rights for the sake of knowledge sharing.
Extreme causes - like exterminate the human species? I think I can restrain myself from that, provided the weather is any good.

I have been a little slow in getting to everything this month, but I have to wait until I hear from each winner before I contact the next one. I am glad to be able to provide the prizes, it makes my job a little bit more fun. ----------------------------- Brad M. McGehee, MVP Webmaster SQL-Server-Performance.Com
I was surprised also Adriaan. It is fun finding out you have won something. I just like seeing my post count up there though. I should be over a 1000 by 2050 at this rate.
