    Hi everyone,

I have SQL Server 2005 32bit running on Server 2008 R2 with 30GB memory installed. We have a database running on it and it is only using 3.6GB of the 30 available. I have enabled the AWE option in the memory options. I have attached a screen grab of the memory settings page.

All and any help would be gratefully accepted.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Luis,

Thank you for your reply. The OS is 64bit Server 2008 R2

AWE is not required and cannot be configured on 64-bit operating systems

Ok I can take that option out, no problem, but it still only addresses 3.6GB of memory rather than the full 30GB.
