Maximum User Connections

    Hi,
    Can somebody clearify that what performance issue occurs if the maximum user connection is exceeded.

    If memory serves me right, then no additional connection will be accepted until an existing one is closed. Might have a severe hit on performance. but unless you haven't changed that setting, the default should be 32k.

    First thing is to SQL server will be unresponsive, how many max number of connections you have at the moment?
