Hi all. I have been asked to consolidate 2 SQL Clusters into 1. Downside is there are some older legacy apps that connect to the servers that are to be decommissioned (older hardware) that only works with SQL Authentication. Is there an easy way to migrate those logins to the new server without have to manually recreate each one of them?
Side note, the servers that are being decommissioned are SQL 2005 Std x86, the one that will be taking the load is a SQL 2008 R2 x64 Ent.

Why not you script those logins out and recreate them in new SQL 2008 server by allowing the password policy where the logins will need to adhere to security policies though you use SQL Authentication.

    Go thru the below KB:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918992
You have to use 'sp_help_revlogin '
