will be the mirroring between principal and the mirror server will be disconnected , when we reboot the mirror server or when we restart the sqlserver ??
Yes it will be disconnected while the mirror server reboots or the service restarts. Log sends will queue at the principal and mirroring will catch up again once the mirror comes back online.
If the Mirror server instance is restarted then REDO queue log increases, so ensure you have proper sizes allocated to teh transaction log too.
Actually i restarted the service in the mirror server , but after the server come back also, the mirror is in disconnected state with the principal.. is there any other reasons for this...
