Mirroring Question plz help

    Hi all I have a simple question about mirroring. I want to implement mirroring but the problem is I want to use the mirrored server also is there any way possible that I can use the mirror database for reporting. or it cant be used. and if we increase the size of the database on the principal how should I increase size on the mirror.

    Thats the drawback with mirroring. The mirror is just sitting there waiting for any failover. UIn 2005 you can create a snapshot of the mirror and have your reports go against the snapshot.

    I have question on this. Say I have point my reports to the snapshots.
    in case of failure in the node which we have created a snashots, is there way that we can change the conection strings of the reports data sources to another one automatically.
