Moving Distribution Database

    Hello, is it possible to move the distribution database without having to drop and recreate all publications/subscriptions?

    Will the servername/instance name changes with this move?

    Nope, server name will remain the same. I just need to move it off of the C: since it's almost out of space.

    No, you have to drop and create all publications/subscriptions , as you move the distribution database to other server (which is a different server/instance name)
    you can Generate the script of creating /dropping the publications and subscribers.

    In case of moving to different server, then it you have to script and redo the replication as mentioned by the Hassan...
    But you are moving locally from one drive to another I don't think you need redo the replication follow the post posted in my previous reply...
