   Hi all,
   
   I have SQl Server 2005 sp3 and need to move from local storage to SAN storage ?? pleae advise
   
   what are the steps I need to follow ?

   As the databases needs to move the storage the downtime is compulsory, so in this case follow the referred KBA above and make sure that you have tested the backups for master & user databases.
   I believe you are only moving storage not the SQL version?
