Need help developing data dictionary

Hi all
I have beengiven assignment to develop data dictionary for our database on sql server 2000.Is there any script to get the data dictionary out? Iâ€™ve also been told to developedthe ER diagram. Iâ€™ll be thankful if any one could send the ideas and experienceto develop ERDâ€™s using any tools like MS visio . Iâ€™ll appreciate is any onecould sent to my direct mail i.e. Amanda.bryne@gmail.com
