SQL Server Performance

Not able to delete the article in merge

    Hi,

    I have a merge replication in our company and we want to delete that.In order to delete the publisher I need to delete the articles in the Publication server but when I am trying to do that I am not able to delete the articles and my transactional log is filling up rapidly.Please help me how to delete the article.

    Why transaction log is filling up?
    I don't think it is because of merge replication because merge replication will not use tlog...
