SQL Server Performance

Not All Memory is Available When AWE is Enabled on a Computer Running 32-bit Version of SQL Server 2000 SP4

    <p>&nbsp;I have SQL Server 2000 enterprise Sp4 installed on windows 2003 Server Enterprise </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The SQL Server only takes advantage 50% of the memory.&nbsp; I found the following solution article from Microsoft</p><p>http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=7C407047-3F1F-48B8-9E4C-DC32875E1961&amp;displaylang=en#Requirements</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>when I try to install the patch I get the following error:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The product does not have a prerequisite update installed. The installation is dependent on the prerequisite update and cannot be installed. Exit setup and refer to the Knowledge Base article to find the prerequisite patch. Install the prerequisite and rerun the installation.</p><img src="file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/themis/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.jpg" alt=""><p>&nbsp;The patch prerequisite is to have Sp4 installed which I have.</p><p>&nbsp;Has anyone faced this issue?</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Thank you&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

    Welcome to the forum.
    Try to install SP4 again.
