Thanks. I think I have already read that [<img src='/community/emoticons/emotion-1.gif' alt='' />]<br /><br />Madhivanan<br /><br />Failing to plan is Planning to fail
I still doubt on the deliverables and it can be pushed further [<img src='/community/emoticons/emotion-1.gif' alt='' />], looking at the previous trend.<br /><br /><b>Satya SKJ</b><br />Microsoft SQL Server MVP<br />Writer, Contributing Editor & Moderator<br /<a target="_blank" href=http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com>http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com</a><br /><center><font color="teal"><font size="1">This posting is provided AS IS with no rights for the sake of <i>knowledge sharing. <hr noshade size="1">Knowledge is of two kinds. I think we won't see such a delay chaos as with SQL Server 2005. -- Frank Kalis Microsoft SQL Server MVP Contributing Editor, Writer & Forum Moderatorhttp://www.sql-server-performance.com Webmaster:http://www.insidesql.de

We can go on to Connect and file loads of feature requests and extensively test Katmai CTPs and find loads of bugs for them to fix to delay it all further and give us some breathing space!
Hey, we're migrating at the beginning on next year to 2005. No sight of making the move directly to 2008, although out IT knows that it will be released around that time. -- Frank Kalis Microsoft SQL Server MVP Contributing Editor, Writer & Forum Moderatorhttp://www.sql-server-performance.com Webmaster:http://www.insidesql.de

Great, your org. has got great potential to work it out. Let us know the findings in this case. The place I'm working is also a part of that program, nothing is happening at the moment we are waiting for next CTP release that is scheduled in couple of weeks time. The difficulty here will be convincing the big cheeses to be early adopters of 2008. But I certainly favour going straight to 2008 from 2000 for servers we haven't upgraded yet.
