Hi Folks, Is there any free or open source tool like tivoli/patrol/unicenter to monitor netoworked sql server box. Although I have written few stored procedures and scheduled job for sending alerts, it does not suffice with our monitoring requierement we need to monitor services,logs,events,performance counters At present my present organisation is not ready to fund for any managed service tool
IMHO there isn't any freeware or Open source at present, you might need to go for full licensed from the Vendors in the market. May be you can search on the Google in this case.
