    Hi All,
I have been running the SQL Profiler to track the worst performing queries. One of the things i found in the trace data is
-- 'password' was found in the text of this event.
-- The text has been replaced with this comment for security reasons.

When is this recorded in the trace? How can this be handled so that this alert does not come anymore.
Is there any way to get the actual text/query that caused this.
    Thank you.

Are you running PROFILER against a SQL 2000 server?
With SQL 2005 Profiler, I can see queries with PASSWORD in the TextData
coming from a SQL 2005 server but not from a SQL 2000 server.

    Hi Satya,
I am running the profiler from the 2005 server. But yes the database compatibility level is 80 in the properties. We have upgraded to 2005 some 6-7 months ago.
Has this something to do with backward compatibility.
    Thanks

Then the error is obvious and as referred you cannot get with 80 compatibility mode, better to run with 90.
