I have a huge commnity web site (many of images, music, video...)

In one second; 300 user online.

My server, have 2 gigabyte ram.

I suspect, any network error. Because, server is very slow.

Is this enough for SQL2000 on server (P4, 2.8 with 2gig ram, in one second 300 online people)?

Else; I suspect, any network error.

To identify your performance issue, you need to begin by getting Performance Monitor traces of your hardware to identify any potential resource bottlenecks.

Next, you need to run a Profiler trace to identify slow performing queries and also as a feed to the Index Tuning Wizard to help identify missing indexes.

Only be doing this will you be able to pin point the cause of your performance issues. This website has lots of information on how to perform the above steps. Especially check out the article on how to perform a SQL Server Performance Audit.
