Performance SQL 2005 und 2000

habe da eine Frage. Ist Der SQL-Server 2005 auf der gleichen Hardware schneller und performanter ?

for the very basic operations, there should be very little difference, because SQL 2000 was already very good.
some operations are actually slower on 2000 than 2005
Be sure to run a Profiler Trace on SQL 2000 before 2005, and compare individual SQL queries
There are special improvements in SQL 2005, such as the affinitize connections to specific processors by port number
Otherwise, i think most of the improvements are in handling large queries, especially involving parallel execution plans

Darf Ich darzu hinfuegen das nach mein gefuehl support zum analyse des slechten queries durch den xml-plan viel leichter geworden ist. <br />Andererseits ist die umschaltung nach die neue umgebung (gui, Zusammenstellung und aufteilung , ..) viel umstaendlicher, aber es lohnt zich !
