SQL Server Performance

Permission for DTS modifying

    Hi,
    I was asked for the following question, Is this should be related to permission? Thanks to give me help.Jessie- is there a way around this? We have difficulty making changes to DTS packages if the person making the change is not the owner of that package. Please advise.

    Is that package owned by SA or any user that has SYSADMIN privileges?
    If so you will not be able to modify, in order to allow that user you have to reassign the permission as per the link above.

    How about that package owned by dbo or just db_datareader and db_datawriter?

    DBO not a problem provided access to read access in MSDB too, what is the problem you are having with DB_DATAWRITER?
