SQL Server Performance

Please advise how to apply hotfix in SQL cluster 2K

    Hi Guru
    could you please advise how to apply MS hotfix http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=936232 in SQL 2K cluster enviroment?
    it's win 2K3 EE, SQL 2K EE.
    we failed twice to apply this hotfix. please help.

    Hi,
    Can you provide us with the steps you took when you tried to install it, during which part of the installation it failed and also provide us with the error message? The error messages tend to be quite generic in 2000 setup but there should be some more clues in the setup log files (sqlstp.log or sqlsp.log on both nodes; I can't remember the names of the 2000 files off the top of my heade. Check the %:program FilesMicrosoft SQL Server.....LOG directory).
    Any monitoring agents or Anitvirus software running on the nodes?

    we should apply the sp/hotfix to the active/primary node first and then secondary node. Please refer http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330391
    Also post in the error logs so that we could have better insight of the error you are getting.
