    Hi all I have some hardware realted How to questions please give me some links or help me out
    I am having lot or problems.I will just list the question so please anyhelp will be greatly appreciated
    1.How to know the available L2 cache size in your CPU.
    2.Location of Swap files
    3.Location of Number of Disk Controllers in Server
    4.Type of Disk Controller
    5.Size of Cache in Disk Controller in Server
    6.Is the write back cache on disk controller is on or off.
    7.Speed of Disk Drives
    8.How Many Network Cards are there in servers.
    9.What is the speed of the Network Card in Server

    guys please please dont get annoyed by long list, and if you guys answer any thing above will highly be appreciated

    1) Ask to your HW provider or take a look of bios.
    2) My Computer, Advanced, Performance.
    3) Ask to your HD provider or/and review hardware manual.
    4) Same as 3).
    5) Same as 3).
    6) Same as 3). Some controlers you can get that with Crtl A, or property software.
    7) Well, what do you mean?. RPM?, etc.
    8) Take a look of the back of your server or same as 3).
    9) My network places, properties, show icon when my....., and you can see speed.
    Sorry, but most of the question you have to ask to the vendor.

    Luis's reference is valid, you can get this huge list of answers from your Hardware Vendor. Also if you can take your time to search on these forums for relevant term you will get list of posts.
