SQL Server Performance

QUERY REGARDING ANALYSIS SERVICES

    i am trying to connect analysis services on remote computer (10/100 M)
    i have time lapse of 20 sec while setting up the connection. PL SUGGEST SOLUTION TO REDUCE THE CONNECTION TIME.

    Then check the netbios settings and lmhosts and ensure no issues on network.

    Cool, whatsoever it may be the basic connection concept for a OLTP or OLAP SQL Servers will be the same and referred articles deals with the issue.

    No, not really. The German translations of KB articles is poor, to say the least. To get accurate informations, I stick with the english originals.
