my application has 3 services on the server which uses ADO to connect to the SQL server and make stored procedure calls. My main concern is the events indicate that there is no database connection pooling going on.
When i run the profiler i see the audit events every second and for each of the services.
    it just has this information
    -- network protocol: TCP/IP
    set quoted_identifier on
    set arithabort off
    set numeric_roundabort off
    set ansi_warnings on
    set ansi_padding on
    set ansi_nulls on
    set concat_null_yields_null on
    set cursor_close_on_commit off
    set implicit_transactions off
    set language us_english
    set dateformat mdy
    set datefirst 7
set transaction isolation level read committed

    Any ideas ?

IIRC, connection pooling will only happen if the connection string from the calling app is identical to one used for a sleeping connection.
    Are you using integrated security?

Thank you for the response. Yes the connection string is exactly the same. tried both integrated and sa/passwd . it behaves the same way...
