    hi all,
its been a while that our transactional replicatoin is failing
the error is that the lsn passed to the subscriber dtabase is invalid,
i checked the evenlogs, and right before this error pops up, we have the
    error 9003 serverity 20 state1

i checked onlined about the error9003.

it is happening mainly because of the master database is faulty,
and online they are suggesting us to rebuild the master database.

but my concern is if there is some problem with master databse then
the error should happen with other database in replicatoin on the database.

, finally we are planning to upgrade to sp4.

or ihave the idea to take the backup of the database and restore on the same server
    and push replicatoin from there.
would you expert guys please throw some ideas,
what do we do to handle this situation.
thanks in advance for your suggestions.

have you run consistency check on master database ?

Can you post complete error here?
Is that SQL master datbase (system) or your application master database?
In general error 9003 refers to be indication of data corruption or that the log file (.ldf) does not match the data file (.mdf). If this error occurred during replication.
In such cases you may need to re-create the publication. Otherwise, restore from backup if the problem results in a failure during startup.
