We are thinking about upgrading our SQL production server to Windows 2k3 64 bit enterprise and SQL 2k5 64 bit std from SQL 2K5 32 bit std on a Windows 2K3 32 bit server. This production server houses a few publishing database and the distrbution database, and we are using push transactional replication. The subscriber server is a SQL 2K5 std 32 bit computer on Windows 2K3 32 bit server which we would like to leave it as it is. Is it ok to doing replication between a SQL 2K5 64 bit std (the publsiher) server and a SQL 2K5 32 bit std (subscriber)?

    I think so...

The differences between 32 and 64 bit are all internal to the SQL server engine. There is no difference between setting up replication, or anything else, on 32 bit vs 64 bit.
