Replication vs Synchronization

    Hello All,
    I'm a newbie in SQL. Currently, i'm using SQL 2008.
    I don't understand the difference between Replication and Synchronization.
    Could someone help me understanding those functions ?

    Welcome to the forum...
    Read the followng links to learn about Replication...I don't think there is any specific function like synchronization but the word is used make sure the publisher and subscriber are in sync which means subscriber got all the data from publisher. At this same time this also used in database mirroring...
