Report server configuration problem

I just installed ms sql 2005 standard edition..
everything went fine but whenever i run a report in BIS, an out of memory exception is thrown by the system.
I ran the configuration manager for reporting service.everything is ok except the "report server status"..


this is the error that i ve been getting..
System.ServiceProcess.TimeoutException: Time out has expired and the operation has not been completed.
at System.ServiceProcess.ServiceController.WaitForStatus(ServiceControllerStatus desiredStatus, TimeSpan timeout)
at ReportServicesConfigUI.Panels.ServerInformationPanel.StartStopServiceTask(Boolean start)
