I have tried to set up a testing environment for the reporting service. I have a server with Windows 2000 Advance server operating system, SQL server 2000 Enterprise Edition, Visual Studio.NET 2003 (download from MSDN Subscriber). However, after I install the Reporting Service Enterprise Edition (download from MSDN Subscriber) and try to start the report manager, I get the "machine.config could not be load.Attempted to access an unloaded AppDomain." error message. I ahve tried so many times with different setting and I increased the executeTimeout, none of them seems to work. Can someone please help me??? Thanks.

Doing a quick search on google groups on the error many get this when they have anti virus software running on the server. Turn it off and test again. If it works exclude the reporting services directories from the scan.
