Hi everyone, I want to know whether from sql server 2005 onwards is it not required to uninstall sql server if we want to rollback a service pack, I have gone through an article in this site and it says that it is not required to uninstall sql server if we have to roll back a service pack and we just have to replace the resource database.
Welcome to the forums!. To me there is no way to rollback sp in 2005. Wait for others members opinions.
Right , no room for rolling back any service pack either from SQL Server 2005 , SQL Server 2008 or even SQL Server 2008 R2 and I am expecting the same for SQL Server 2012 once releasing SP for it which is still CTP version so far .. Kindly let me know if any further help is needed
