Salary range for a 5 year DBA with clustering experience

    So DTS/SSIS, MSAS are BI tools.. ??

    Yes they are, but DTS is legacy from SQL 2005 onwards and SSIS is the new face of it in using with ETL methods....

    Along with SSRS, SSAS, ETL,etc...
    At least from what I deduct from typical job postings.

    I wasn't joking about the £600 per day rates, I've heard you can get that in the banking sector in London.

    Yes, I know, but somehow I missed to extrapolate that to an annual basis and realize that it is roughly equal to 144k p.a.

    two jobs I applied for are looking to do BI projects but dont require BI. Guess I will learn!:)

    I concur with the above salary ranges. But is will vary from region to region and from company to company. I defintely won't consider anything less than 80K at the very lowest.
