Saving Maintenance Plan change in all jobs "Run as"

    Hello,
    I've created Maintenance Plan under sysadmin account "kentril" then I changed Maintenance Plan owner to public account "SQL_Backup_Agent I've created, credential, proxy etc. to use it for running jobs under Maintenance Plan. I saved the Maintenance Plan. Changed all jobs steps "run as" to proxy account. Now If I make any changes under Maintenance Plan and save it, all job steps "run as" change back to "SQL Server Agent Service Account". Is this feature? Bug?

    Welcome to the forums.
    Is the SQL Server agent account using a SYSADMIN privilege?
    What is the service pack level on SQL Server?

    Yes, the account is in sysadmin role. There is the newst CU - 2008 R2 + Cumulative Update 6.
