Security Permissions for a Replicated Server...

    Currently i have limited access (View Definition on few DBs, View Server/Database State, ShowPlan) to one of the PROD Servers i support.
    Replication is to be set up on this server newly for 2 DBs. After Replication, Can i continue supporting those 2 DBs with the same access privileges I have now?

    If you are user of database having readwrite access to specfic objects in database it would not be a issue.
    When you say support what kind of support do you provide for these databases ? Also kind of replication is being planned ?

    Your DBA might need to redefine the security permissions for the replicated datbases (Distributor & publisher/subscriber) if in case any explicit permissions that you might need.

    To confirm... So that means if i want to continue the same permissions that i have today, my DBA doesnt have to redefine anything explicitly.
