SQL Server Performance

Separate Cluster Resources into Different Group....

    I have multiple cluster resources on my sql cluster and created a new group for a particular instance.
    When I try to move the resource, it forces to move all or none of them. Is there a way to separate the resources into a different group?
    How do I do this for only select resources? THX!

    I believe you can't because they are dependent on each other....
    What you are trying to accomplish with this resource move..?

    Thanks MohammedU for reply.....Basically, the client has a sql instance and SSIS on one node/cluster group, and they want to separate the SSIS stuff. But as you said, there are dependencies that would need to be modified. Any ideas? No way to do this?
