I think this is very important for all DBA. My question is from the “guide to creating and configuring a server cluster in Windows server 2003.doc” from Microsoft, it say Microsoft doesn’t not recommended that you use any type of network teaming for the hearbeat, how about network teaming for public network ? Did you use this before. We have 2 network switch and we connect cable of from both switch to a server. So when one switch failes, the server still connectable.

I don't see any problem at my end using similar setup, due to the limitations of using other network types the general recommendation was not to use. As long as that network is consistent and you will not see any issues then continue.
