Is there no simple "Report this post to a moderator" option in Schnitz?
  5. FrankKalis Moderator

I think this would be an add-in, which is likely to be available.

I believe no use of it at the moment as the site migration is nearly approaching, so as of now better to be rely upon the manual checkup.

What do you mean by this?
I think Snitz has a banned word filter. Though this only will replace the words in a posting by '*'. iirc.

Sorry missed the username (going blind..)

Yep Snitz has a bad word filter as you said which really is only useful to prevent abusive posts not spam.

The best option is to delete those replies (post) and refer here to drop that SPammer, best way to go report to Brad & Jude.

Having a good laugh on this news content:
Junk e-mails set to fall after 'spammer' arrested
US authorities said today computer users everywhere could notice a decrease in junk e-mail after the arrest of a man described as one of the world's most prolific spammers.

Robert Soloway, 27, is accused of using networks of compromised "zombie" computers to send out millions of spam e-mails.

"He's one of the top ten spammers in the world," said Tim Cranton of Microsoft's Worldwide Internet Safety Programs. "He's a huge problem for our customers. This is a very good day."

A federal grand jury returned a 35-count indictment against Soloway last week, charging him with mail fraud, wire fraud, e-mail fraud, aggravated identity theft and money laundering.

Soloway pleaded not guilty to all charges early today after a judge determined that - even with four bank accounts seized - he was sufficiently well off to pay for his own lawyer. Soloway had been living in a ritzy apartment and drove a Mercedes convertible, said prosecutor Kathryn Warma.

Prosecutors are seeking to have him forfeit £386,500 they say he made from his business, Newport Internet Marketing.

So we can rest for a while []

Satya SKJ
Microsoft SQL Server MVP
Writer, Contributing Editor & Moderator<br /http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com

This posting is provided AS IS with no rights for the sake of knowledge sharing.
Knowledge is of two kinds.
