Yeah, just deleted ~10 posting from this userhttp://www.sql-server-performance.com/forum/pop_profile.asp?mode=display&id=20396 -- Frank Kalis Moderator Microsoft SQL Server MVP Webmaster:http://www.insidesql.de
Deleted GamblingInsiders. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to deal with spam complaints. I think it might not be too efficient to report them in a series of threads, maybe a single thread as suggested before or an email to me with just 'spam - username' in the subject line, or I could setup a separate email address for spam complaints.. What do you all think?
Jude Can we have this discussion in Mods section, over from there. Like I suggested earlier, on many forums you see "Report this post to a moderator" option, just like a "Reply" option.
That's not the problem. Problem is that the right to ban/delete users is exclusively owned by the forum admin and is not transferrable to moderators in Snitz. -- Frank Kalis Moderator Microsoft SQL Server MVP Webmaster:http://www.insidesql.de

Hi guys, just to report back on the deal with users named 'n/a'. It seems that Snitz decided not to delete some members and left them with active accounts and called them 'n/a' , I've deleted most of them but for a few Snitz seems to think they really should remain members so I conceded defeat. Hopefully I was able to delete the worst offenders.
Is snitz favoring spammers [<img src='/community/emoticons/emotion-2.gif' alt='' />] and I think its bug for not deleting from the database.<br /><br />Phew, I think we got rid of junk.<br /><br /><b>Satya SKJ</b><br />Microsoft SQL Server MVP<br />Writer, Contributing Editor & Moderator<br /<a target="_blank" href=http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com>http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com</a><br /><center><font color="teal"><font size="1">This posting is provided AS IS with no rights for the sake of <i>knowledge sharing. <hr noshade size="1">Knowledge is of two kinds. If that doesn't work, it might be worth checking back with Snitz community as long as we stick with it. -- Frank Kalis Microsoft SQL Server MVP Contributing Editor, Writer & Forum Moderatorhttp://www.sql-server-performance.com Webmaster:http://www.insidesql.de
