SQL 2005 cluster question

I know you can house the reportserver and the reportservertempdb on a sql 2005 cluster and connect to them from another standalone SSRS installation/configuration that is not a cluster; however, here is my question:

My understanding is SSRS is not cluster aware but can I install and configure SSRS on each node in the cluster that the DBs are on and just manually point them to the DBs in the cluster? Or, do I need to have the DBs on the cluster and configure SSRS on a completely other box (new license) and point it back to the report dbs that are in the cluster?
