Hi guys !!! would really appreciate if you can help...currently i am deploying a 2 node cluster where both are DC...that's right...i know its very troublesome...after the hardening...my SQL 2005 cluster fails to start...Hence, i ran the command dcgpofix.exe to revert back to previous domain controller security policy state as before the hardening...However, the SQL still failed to start...i do not want to re-do everything from scratch again...pls help!!! thanks in advance...

    cheers...

Microsoft specifically states that SQL Server 2005 clustering is not supported on domain controllers. I tried this once myself with no luck.

I know you don't want to hear this, but you need to go to your supervisor and tell them that this is not a Microsoft-supported option, and that if you insist on sticking with it, that you will not be able to get much, if any, help from Microsoft.
