Yes. It'll be fine. the only issue I have found so far is that subqueries are no longer allowed in Output clauses - this broke one SP in one of our applications. This was caught in testing fortuantely. This change is very well hidden in the SP2 books online update at the very bottom of the OUTPUT topic. It's obscure though and unlikely to affect many people I wouldn't have thought.

If you are using database maintenance plans on the SQL server where SP2 is applied or thinking to apply then ensure to apply the patch for DB maint.plans too. I believe it is included in SP2, If you download SP2 after 3/5/2007... The maintenance plan pathc was related to backup retention issue but the following might be after sp2 patch...
