    HI,

Has anyone seen the followin error in their SQL 2005 Server?

The server was unable to load the SSL provider library needed to log in; the connection has been closed. SSL is used to encrypt either the login sequence or all communications, depanding on how the adminisrator has configured the server [client:10.101.xx.xx]

I am not sure why am I getting this error. I don't have any SSL certificate connection from client to server.
can someone please advise if they have seen this error before?

    HI,
I checked the following thread and made sure that my sql server has all the ports are open for client communication, added to firewall, and all the services are running.
still can't figure out what am I missing to resolve this issue?

Does work thread settings have anything do with this?

I checked on my sql 2005 properties under processors, the maximum work threads is set to 0.

then, i checked on sql 2000, the maximum threads is set to 255...

does this have anything do with this? I am just curious to know this..

How about privileges for SQL Server service account on both the servers?

    Hi,

I have question regarding Surface Area Configuration for Features tool. It's just caused my attention and i'm checking to make sure the connections are properly enabled and my Surface are configuration for services and connections are properly set;however i had question regarding configuration for features too. I just clicked on this and I don't have anything enabled such as Ad hoc remote queries, service broker, and all other options.

does this require to enable some of the features if we use??

Yes they are disabled by default for enhanced security, you have to enable them explicitly if you wanted to use for application purpose.
