If you want to monitor the code and connections of a server you can use PERFMON and PROFILER, and search under Google for similar information about third party tools. According to the web site SQL Impact provides accurate and automatic impact analysis for any proposed structural database changes. I haven't seen any other software which provides an impact analalysis
