T-SQL is about as dry as a language can possibly get, so I wondered if it was possible to tell a joke in it. Here's my attempt (this is not my joke, but a translation to SQL of one I have heard:

create table projects (
cheap bit not null,
[fast] bit not null,
correct bit not null,
constraint possible check ( cast( cheap as int )
+ cast( [fast] as int )
+ cast( correct as int ) = 2 )
)

insert projects values ( 1, 1, 1 )

Server: Msg 547, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
INSERT statement conflicted with TABLE CHECK constraint 'possible'. The conflict occurred in database 'master', table 'projects'.
The statement has been terminated.

Yes, I am a geek. I know. I can't help it.

    Reminds me of an old joke about mathematicians:
There are 3 kinds of mathematicians: 1 can count to 3, 1 can not.
