You could set up monitoring/reporting on the sql jobs that perform the logshipping, the same way as you would do on any other sql job running on the server. Not sure if any counters exist, haven't looked into that.

    Go thru this<a target="_blank" href=http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sql/2000/maintain/logship2.mspx>http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sql/2000/maintain/logship2.mspx</a> Technet document for reference about monitoring log shipping.<br /><br />As referred there are no special counters, apart from capturing the usual PERFMON counters get 'SQL Server<img src='/community/emoticons/emotion-2.gif' alt=':D' />atabases - Log growths ' for information on the log growth.<br /><br />HTH<br /><br /><hr noshade size="1"><b>Satya SKJ</b><br />Moderator<br /<a target="_blank" href=http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com/forum>http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com/forum</a><br /><center><font color="teal"><font size="1">This posting is provided “AS IS” with no rights for the sake of <i>knowledge sharing.</i></font id="size1"></font id="teal"></center>
