    Hi Satya, i'm waiting for expert comments on sp4 so plz post ur comments on this final release so that ill be ready to install it on my production.

    I have to check for the feedback at office about SP4 activity, going back to work after one week.
    I feel the initial look of SP4 will do the required at my end.

    MS has issued a warning for systems with enabled AWE. If you have such a system it is better to wait for the hotfix

    SP4 isn't easy to uninstall, so plan your upgrade carefully. You'll need to upgrade your Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE) versions to SP4 based on how you installed MSDE's original instance. SP4's home page, which I mentioned earlier, will help you navigate that process.
